This gentleman's name is Tammam Al-Sahnawi, and this photo of us was taken in the Dignity Square—a place I had seen hundreds of times in pictures and videos, but only got the chance to visit yesterday.

Tammam is the founder of Suwayda 24, which faced immense pressure to be silenced by the Assad regime and local actors, yet continued to operate professionally.
