We calculate that Syria will run out of oil by 2058.

Assuming:

- The current slowed pace of extraction continues

- The extensive bombing of oil fields by the international coalition and Russia, as well as the primitive extraction methods, didn't result in seismic shifts that lowered the amount of recoverable oil, and

- No future discoveries 

As we show in the next issue of Syria in Figures, Syria will almost certainly never become a net exporter again.
